Our Environment is a website designed to help you learn about the natural environments of New Zealand. Using the maps and data made available through Our Environment you can obtain answers to key questions about our natural environments and land resources.
What is Our Environment?
Our Environment is an interactive, online service providing access to some of Landcare Research´s considerable holdings of environmental data. With a thematic focus, it has been designed to be usable by the general user although experts should find it of value too. Over the coming months additional data and information will be added to Our Environment extending the types of questions that can be answered.

Using Our Environment you can:

- Select particular data themes to view as maps.
- View detailed information from a particular data theme.
- Obtain further details about particular data themes (metadata).
